John M. Bowman, D.M.D., M.S., P.A.

     After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, Dr. Bowman attended the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) in 1976.  Before joining Dobbin Dental Suite, his wife, Fran, and he lived in Philadelphia where Dr. Bowman served as Director at Albert Einstein Medical Center’s General Practice Dental Residency Program, as well as being a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine.

     In 1983, Dr. Bowman and his family moved to Baltimore where he received a Master in Science (M.S.) from the University of  Maryland Dental School in Oral Pathology.  Currently, he is a Clinical Associate Professor, teaching part-time at the University Of Maryland Dental School.

     Presently, Dr. Bowman and his wife live in Owings Mills and they have two adult children, Katie and Michael, as well as two cocker spaniels, Frenchy and Mimi.
