Carrie A. McMillen, D.D.S.

     Dr. McMillen may be our newest associate, but she is one of our most long-standing employees.  While growing up in Columbia, she worked in the practice starting in high school as a receptionist’s assistant.  Soon after, Carrie was trained in dental assisting which piqued her interest in other aspects of dentistry.  In 1999, she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University Of Maryland Dental School and was well on her way to becoming Dr. McMillen. She practiced dental hygiene for three years before returning to academia and earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University Of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2006.

     After graduating from dental school, Dr. McMillen spent one year at the VA Medical Center in Baltimore where she received advanced training in general practice and hospital-based dentistry.

     Dr. McMillen resides in Howard County with her husband and two kids, Alice and Gus.  Her interests include the culinary arts, dabbling in home projects, and enjoying all the aspects of family and motherhood.

     Being the newest member to the Dobbin Dental group, she brings energy and enthusiasm, as well as modern dental concepts to the group.  She is looking forward to serving our patients in her new capacity.
