Dr. Carrie A. McMillen
Focus: General Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Implants, Invisalign, Full Arch Implant Restorations
Dr. Carrie McMillen has been a member of the Dobbin Dental family since 1991. While growing up in Columbia, she began working in the practice starting in high school as the receptionist’s assistant. Soon after, Dr. McMillen was trained in dental assisting which piqued her interest in other aspects of dentistry. In 1999, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene, graduating with high honors from the University of Maryland Dental School. She practiced dental hygiene for three years before returning to academia and earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2006.
After graduating with honors from dental school, Dr. McMillen spent one year at the VA Medical Center in Baltimore, where she received advanced training in general practice and hospital-based dentistry.
Currently, Dr. McMillen resides in Howard County with her husband and two children, Alice and Gus. Her interests include cooking, travelling, and enjoying all the aspects of family and motherhood.
