Ever since she was a little girl, Dr. Esther Oak had a flair for both science and art and always knew that she wanted to work with people. She believes that practicing dentistry allows her to practice the perfect blend of her strengths. Originally from New England, Dr. Oak graduated from the University of Connecticut as an Honors Scholar, earning a bachelor’s degree in molecular and Cellular Biology. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of New England, where she was awarded the Oral Health Scholarship Award and the International College of Dentists Leadership Award USA Section for academic excellence and demonstration in leadership.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Oak relocated to O’ahu where she spent the past 5 years. During her time there, she was recognized by Honolulu Magazine as one of Hawaii’s Best Dentists in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Dr. Oak is excited to return to the East Coast and is happy to provide all aspects of dentistry at Dobbin Dental Suite. She believes that patients’ comfort comes first. She understands that each person has a unique set of needs to fit their goals and life and stays up to date with continuing education to provide the best care for her patients.
